In one line
All of your reading stays on your device. Fluence works without an account, shows no advertising, and keeps your documents, notes, questions and recorded voice on the phone where you created them.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Yannick Huchard, 24 rue Marie Rausch-Weynand, Differdange, Luxembourg. Reach us at contact@fluencereader.com.
What lives on your device
Your imported documents and their text, your reading position, bookmarks and notes, your questions and their answers, the audio Fluence generates, any voice recording you make, and your settings. All of it stays in the app's private storage on your phone.
When Fluence uses the network
Three moments, and they are the only ones. Downloading a voice or a language model from a public repository, where the request carries information about the file alone. Fetching a web article when you paste its address, so the text can be saved for you. Completing a purchase, which Google Play handles from end to end.
Diagnostics
Should the app stop unexpectedly, it writes a report to your device holding the technical fault, the app version, your device model and your Android version. It stays on the phone. You choose whether to share it with us or delete it, from the About screen.
Your rights
Everything about you remains under your own control on your device. Rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR apply to any correspondence you send us at contact@fluencereader.com. You may also raise a matter with your national supervisory authority.
